Performance:

  • Ammu Abhirami shines in her role, especially in the first story, delivering a nuanced performance.
  • Vetri Sudley also portrays his character effectively, adding depth to his segment has a person who is effected by the betting and rummy apps.
  • The cryptic Old Man’s character stands out as impactful, despite not having any dialogues.
  • Divya Duraisamy In the final story, centered around surrogacy and forgiveness, she features commendable performance

Technical Aspects:

  • Direction: Kamaraj Vel chooses bold and compelling elements for the stories, though execution is uneven.
  • Music: The background score is good and heightens the tension, but the songs fail to leave a mark.
  • Cinematography: The visuals are well-captured, especially in the last two stories, effectively setting the tone.
  • Production Values: Despite being modest, the production values ensure a polished look.

Strengths:

  • Strong performances, especially by Ammu Abhirami and the actor playing the Old Man.

  • Inconsistent storytelling, with the second half overshadowing the first.
  • Songs fail to match the emotional weight of the narrative.

My Personal Take On Cinema:

Adharma Kadhaigal attempts to explore the darker side of human emotions and succeeds to an extent. While the performances and second half of the film shine, inconsistencies in the first half and weak song placement hinder the overall experience.

Strengths: Performances, intriguing themes, visuals, and background score.
Weaknesses: Weak first half, rushed storytelling, lackluster songs.
