Review Breakdown
Performances
-
Kalyan Ram is okay. His role doesn’t give him much room to shine emotionally, and some scenes felt overly dramatic and forced.
-
Vijayashanti is solid—she brings gravitas and commands presence, but her character arc deserved more emotional depth and exploration.
-
Saiee Manjrekar is underutilized. Clearly used just for glam quotient with no real contribution to the narrative.
-
Sohail Khan and Srikanth are passable, but no one really makes a strong impression in the supporting cast.
Direction & Writing
-
The direction is weak. Almost every scene feels like a recycled version of something we've already seen in Telugu cinema.
-
The mother-son bond, which could’ve been the emotional core, is barely scratched. With better writing, it could’ve elevated the film.
-
Some scenes are unnecessarily loud and disjointed, breaking any emotional flow the film tries to create.
Music & Technical Aspects
-
Music is forgettable, and that's a big blow for a film relying on emotion and mass appeal.
-
BGM is average, barely elevating any sequence.
-
Visuals and production values are good, but they feel like a wasted opportunity due to the weak content.
Strengths
✅ Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanti have their moments
✅ Production quality is decent
✅ A few emotional beats do connect… briefly
Weaknesses
❌ Weak direction and predictable storytelling
❌ Repetitive, loud scenes that kill the mood
❌ Glamour over substance with Saiee’s character
❌ Background score doesn’t elevate the film
❌ Emotion and drama feel unearned and rushed
My Personal Take on Cinema
This is yet another template-driven Telugu film, loaded with mother sentiment, heroism, and a climax twist. Unfortunately, none of it lands the way it should. While the premise had potential, especially with a mother-son angle and a vigilante-style hero transformation, the execution makes it feel outdated and overdone.
Unless you're watching purely for Kalyan Ram or Vijayashanti, this one is a one-time watch at best. In a time when Telugu audiences are demanding fresh narratives and tight execution, this film falls short.
